My wife and son and I live in a house near Birchmount and St. Clair in Scarborough, and we have a room for rent on the main floor. There is one washroom and a shared kitchen. My son lives in the basement apartment. We own a cat named Estrella. The room comes furnished with a bed and a wardrobe. There is also a closet. There is a window overlooking the backyard, and allows plenty of natural light to enter. The house is steps away from a bus stop on St. Clair. The 16, 9, and 102 buses pass by, and it's just a couple stops to Warden Station. The Scarborough Go Station is also within walking distance. I work 5-6 days a week, while my wife is retired. My son works with me on weekdays, and we leave together in the morning. While my English is fluent, my wife's is not. That is why we prefer a Spanish-speaking student as a tenant, though these are not mandatory criteria. Mi esposa, mi hijo y yo vivimos en una casa cerca de Birchmount y St. Clair en Scarborough, y alquilamos un cuarto en nuestra casa. Hay un bano y una cocina compartida. Mi hijo vive en el basement. Tenemos una gata llamada Estrella. La habitacion esta amueblada con una cama y un armario. Tambien hay un closet. Tiene una ventana que da al patio y deja entrar mucha luz natural. La casa esta a pocos pasos de una parada de autobus en St. Clair. Los autobuses 16, 9 y 102 pasan por alli, y la estacion de Warden esta a solo un par de paradas. La estacion de Scarborough Go tambien esta a poca distancia a pie. Trabajo 5 o 6 dias a la semana, mientras que mi esposa esta jubilada. Mi hijo trabaja conmigo entre semana y salimos juntos por la manana. Si bien mi ingles es fluido, el de mi esposa no. Por eso preferimos a un estudiante hispanohablante como inquilino, aunque estos no son requisitos obligatorios. No smoking allowed, no pets.
