This house is as much an art piece as home, very little has been left to the mundane. I was chosen as the winning bidder when buying this home from the original builder partly because I intended to enhance and restore it. Of all the homes this couple had lived in, this was their favorite. I have photos framed and put up in some of the corners, showing their home when new and showing it being built in 1948.
I encourage you to carefully peruse the photos posted here. The location on Ingra St is currently quite busy and noisy, but the glass-block windows make it quite peaceful inside.
Another point about the traffic; the State DOT has an excellent and well thought out plan to shunt the highway traffic down 15th St, leaving Ingra as a peaceful 2-way avenue. See the DOT for further info.
The house has city water and city sewer, and has alley access as well as street access. The fenced yard has been quite effective in keeping reasonable trained dogs in.
Feel free to contact, I am always happy to talk.
