This house is as much an art piece as home, very little has been left to the mundane. I was chosen as the winning bidder when buying this home from the original builder partly because I intended to enhance and restore it. Of all the homes this couple had lived in, this was their favorite. I have photos framed and put up in some of the corners, showing their home when new and showing it being built in 1948. I encourage you to carefully peruse the photos posted here. The location on Ingra St is currently quite busy and noisy, but the glass-block windows make it quite peaceful inside. Another point about the traffic; the State DOT has an excellent and well thought out plan to shunt the highway traffic down 15th St, leaving Ingra as a peaceful 2-way avenue.
