I have one bedroom for rent in my five bedroom home, which is a beautifully maintained midcentury modern design. At the moment I live with my four elderly dogs and one other roommate. We are both quiet and clean. $750 rent includes utilities. The new renter will share a newly renovated bathroom with the other renter. The bedroom room measures about 16 feet by 14 feet and is currently furnished with a queen sized bed and small desk but can be provided unfurnished. The room is freshly painted with large windows, lots of light, wood floors, and a sizable closet. We will all share the kitchen and living spaces. The house is a five minute drive to Duke University and Duke Hospital, twenty minute drive to UNC, and ten minute drive to downtown Durham. Easy access to all major freeways, shopping, and nature trails. The house is a nature lover's paradise, sitting on the edge of Duke Forest. It has huge windows and is bathed in sunlight. There is a large front yard, back yard and back porch. Kitchen has luxury finishes and all modern conveniences. Wood floors throughout. Parking, laundry, and all utilities included in rent. The neighborhood is very quiet, safe, and private. Obviously you must love dogs for this to be a good fit, but not have your own pets. The dogs are sweet and old but do bark sometimes, especially when meeting new people. Rent term is flexible. No smoking inside.
