I am looking for 1 roommate in my 3 BR, 3 BA townhouse condo in Olde Kensington! Rent for the room is $1000 a month, plus utilities (internet, basic cable, electric, gas). Your room includes a large closet and a private bathroom. The room can be furnished or unfurnished depending on your needs. This fully upgraded new construction has everything for classy and comfortable living. All new appliances: stainless steel fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave, gas stove/oven, and washer and dryer in unit. I really enjoy cooking and this is a great space to cook and prep. The common area is large and has plenty of room for a TV, couches, chairs, and a table. I have hookups for HBO, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Street parking is free and generally available. The house includes a security system, fire system, and camera for seeing who is at the front door. The back of the unit has a private patio for outside enjoyment and grilling. I have the master, which has its own bathroom. I use one of the bedrooms as my office (i.e., there will only be two people total at the house). I am a lawyer who works downtown, so I stay busy during the week mostly. Fairly quiet nights Mon-Thurs with work at the office and then often heading to the gym right after (Retro Fitness on Spring Garden is close and very nice!). I ride my bike to work, so that's a great way to get around. I am adamant about keeping everything clean and tidy (no dishes overnight in sink, wipe after cooking, sweep occasionally). I enjoy working out, watching sports, cooking, listening/collecting vinyl, reasoned debate, bars/restaurants, live music, riding bikes, etc. I am looking for a similarly minded stable professional (male or female). Non-smoker, no drugs. Very close to Temple University, Northern Liberties, Girard, Fishtown, Spring Garden, and Fairmount. It's a quick Uber, subway, or bus to Center City and other downtown areas. Please let my know a little about yourself (responses with more than "My housing needs have recently changed and I am actively looking for a new place to live" will definitely get more preference!)
