Point Breeze is a growing area with a lot of young professionals and young families living, working, and exploring the neighborhood. This flourishing area offers all the amenities you would expect from Philly urban living. Fantastic eateries, bars, shopping and multiple grocery stores are just steps away in this extremely walkable neighborhood. Only a few blocks from the East Passyunk corridor and just south of Rittenhouse Square. Close to Broad Street line and 1.5 blocks from 2 Bus Route (access to Center City in under 15min). Multiple parks nearby. Special Note about the Block: House is on a quiet and friendly block located on a smaller street (less traffic). The neighbors are friendly and active in maintaining our block. There's a facebook group for the street and tenants are encouraged to join. Neighbors will often notify one another of packages delivered, pick them up on the behalf of others, and are generally supportive of everyone on the block. A few years ago residents transformed the open lot space into a beautiful community garden with mulch, plants, flowers, chairs to relax, and a small "take a book/leave a book" library. It is truly the best block in Point Breeze. The street has no permit parking and it's usually easy to get a spot on the block (depending on the time of day) or within 1-2 blocks.
