Very friendly neighborhood. Whiting Lane School right up the street. Public tennis courts and a large soccer field next to the school. Convenient to restaurants, markets, convenience stores and I-84 yet, except for the school, completely residential single-family and some duplex homes. Only one mile from West Hartford center and Blue Back Square. Most of us know our neighbors and it's not at all unusual for us to help each other with snow shoveling, house watching, lending tools, etc.
