    Spacious custom-built home in a quiet neighborhood near excellent schools, but not too far from major transit centers. This home offers an entire separate living area downstairs - previously used as a daycare with it's own entrance, but currently used by a large, extended family. The 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, two kitchens, two living rooms, and large backyard make our home comfortable while giving enough flexibility to entertain or spread out as needed. Vaulted ceilings let in more natural sunlight (a big plus for Seattle!), while adding a sense of grandeur to the upstairs living room and dining room. The balcony overlooks the backyard and much of the entire neighborhood as colors wash over the sky at sunset. The backyard includes a garden area which can be maintained by you or left to grown wildflowers - it also has an old Japanese maple (Red Dragon) and a large lawn for summer play and sunbathing. While our home is down a long, quiet backstreet, it is conveniently close to excellent schools (Parkwood elementary: 7-minute walk), major shopping areas (Central Market off Aurora: 5-minute drive), and public transportation (Shoreline South 148th Light Rail station: 10-minute bike ride). One of the best locations in the North Seattle area! We have no near-term plans to move back into our home, but we ask that you treat it, and take care of it, like you would your own. We are posted overseas and will likely be extended for longer, so a 1-or-more-years lease term is entirely possible. Due to the 17-hour time-zone difference, we may be slow responding to your inquiry but all messages will get a reply. Tenant is responsible for all utilities including water, sewer, garbage, electricity, and Internet/TV/etc. Tenant is also expected to maintain the lawn/landscaping either by themselves or through a service of their choice - if major cleanup is necessary at end of lease, these costs will be deducted from security deposit. Lease length negotiable, but 1-3 years preferred. We are a family living overseas on USG orders and do not expect to return soon. Minimum 700 credit score and $120k/year combined household income.
