This home has 6 rooms - 2 bedrooms - 1 master suite - kitchen - family room and living room. The rooms are the right size they should be. The home needed remodeling and we needed a home with the right sized rooms in a nice quiet neighborhood with NO HOA, and low property taxes. So we started! All of the carpet and laminate was removed and replaced with ceramic tile that has two sizes of tiles perfectly blended through the whole house without interruption. The walls and baseboards were very well painted. All of the kitchen and cabinets were removed with taller cabinets with one whole wall in the hallway with solid cabinets and shelves that can be adjusted. All the counter tops have been replaced with an upgraded granite. Instead of the U-shaped kitchen that was originally there, we had an outstanding island built that is 38" wide and 69" long. There is walking room all the way around the island so 3 people can conveniently work in the kitchen instead of just 1 person. All of the appliances were brand new when we moved in and the one I'm proudest of is the dishwasher that is far quieter than any other that I have heard! Not done yet! There are new fans in every room, security doors in front and back and sunscreens on most of the windows......now that's just the inside. The insulation in the attic is at least 6" thick (per the inspector). The driveway has been extra wide so you don't have to step into the rocks as you get out of the car. The concrete has been made even wider just inside the gate so trash cans are not in your way when you walk to the back. We had a concrete patio put in that is the whole width of the house and 10' deep. As if the cabinets inside isn't enough, we had a Tuff Shed put in the back corner of the lot that is about 10' X 19' with a pitched roof (the top of the pitch is about 11') This shed is bit enough to even consider a loft. We had a saguaro planted in the front yard along with other other desert landscaping and large accent rocks. Our landscaper out did himself by putting a small rock stream across the back yard that isn't just for looks but angles away from the yard and lets any water flow to the street with a bridge over the stream. Our orange tree is giving us a lot (about 12 bags full) of very sweat oranges. Front and back has beautiful rocks so you don't have to mow anything and all the plants are on a drip system. BEST OF ALL: we have solar and our last bill from APS was only $26!!!!!!!!!!!!
