I'm a 55y/o GWM who has furnished rooms for rent in my large home just NW of downtown Des Moines. The house has a quiet, low-keyed atmosphere and is located in a great and safe neighborhood near two major grocery stores, shopping centers and two major bus stops as well as popular restaurants... all just a couple of blocks away. I've been renting furnished rooms for over twenty years now and provide a great, welcoming atmosphere to many including traveling nurses to long-term career professionals. The bathrooms are shared by 1-2 others and have an open kitchen and laundry room for use. Each room has it's own unique size and layout, some with private entrances. My house is very large with three common areas and was renovated 17 years ago, people love their stay here as it is peaceful and positive here. I'm looking for a quiet, clean, respectful individual, who doesn't have overnight guests and keeps visitors at a minimum and staying at least three months. I require no major activity from 10pm to 6am(ie. cooking or cleaning) out of respect for others sleeping. The house is a no drug, no smoking environment.
