(AGENTS Welcome) Hello. My wife and I feel that our lot and home in San Antonio are a very rare find. My wife, architect, and I (builder for 30 years) found Seekers Street after it had opened as the last road to be developed in Grandview, The Overlook. I arrived 9 months before the family and kept a vigilant watch over the construction (no stagnant water in house, solid foundation/materials, built per standards); We were keen to find a custom home builder and after a long search based upon schools, commute (I worked near the San Antonio Airport and at Fort Sam Houston) and scenery we were sold for building on our own lot on Seekers per the design option we selected. We have no regrets. What we wanted: 1. Schools: We were zoned for & attended #1 Ranked Elementary School in San Antonio, Beard E.S. 2. Middle School: New middle school in own subdivision. Garcia M.S., children were challenged! Felt Safe! 3. High Schools: Several options here from Brandeis H.S. to the new, 2017-18 school year, Atonement H.S. (and existing lower grades) that is at the end of the cul-de-sac, a 5-7 minute walk. Additionally, TMI Episcopal School: 6th Grade -12th Grade (use the back roads and it is an easy drive) - ALL impressive schools 4. Commute: The exit off of 1604 onto Kyle Seale Parkway is the best, I believe, in the whole area. Easy to access and very short waits to depart subdivision (maybe 2, 3 car wait at stop sign). Compare that to several hundred coming out of Helotes on Bandera Road or Stone Oak disaster. 5. Scenery: The houses around 15810 are on the best street in all of San Antonio. Back of houses face Fiesta Texas and have nightly fireworks during the summer. We can see downtown and have a greenbelt zone in our backyard (Owner per tax records: Grandview HOA!): great for walking. Sun also rises from back so awaken with sun and the heat in afternoon does not impact den area or kitchen. Besides that, our pool is a rarity in The Overlook as others impacted by easement restrictions. 6. Seekers Street: Flat, Dead End street, no thru traffic. Not near a corner – can see cars coming 7. Fire hydrant across street 8. No chemicals have been used in backyard (none for grass nor pest prevention) 9. Property on left has their porch on their left; property on right has their porch on their right. No porches face our backyard (privacy)!!! 10. Gated Community with CCTV installed at entrance added in 2016 Ask us for the rest of the Top 20 List In gated community with huge greenbelt linked around community. Custom built Swimming pool. Nightly view to city center and fireworks at Fiesta Texas. Highland Homes (Builder): J.D. Power Top 20 Builder in The Builder 100 List. 3 car garage, inner wall pest treatment system, majority brick exterior, no other porches facing back yard, surround sound, security system.
