5 bedroom house looking for one new roommate (old roommate is moving in with their partner), ready for move in now. About the room/house: This room comes unfurnished and is on the on the 2nd floor, which has one other bedroom and a bathroom. The house itself is large (5 bdrm, 2.5 bathrooms). The bedroom is a good size and can easily fit a queen sized bed with extra space. The house has some wear and tear, but it's been renovated with energy efficient heating/cooling and appliances, while maintaining it's old timey charm and original carvings throughout, including (no longer functioning) fireplaces, doorways, etc. There is a small backyard and a big unfinished basement for laundry and storage (if you need to start moving thing in there, we can put them in the basement). Fully furnished downstairs, but the bedroom itself will be empty. The house is almost catercorner from the 2 bus which runs North/South from Oregon up to Hunting Park, it is a 5 min walk to the Subway and Indego Bike Station (Broad Street Line), 10 min to Italian Market/Passyunk, 10-15 min to Center City, 20-25 min walk to Suburban Station. Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal, Central AC, etc included. Street parking is about as easy to find as it comes in South Philly - free on 16th, permit (~$35/year) on Ellsworth (house is near the corner which helps). About the Roommates: Everyone in the house is in their mid-late 20-30's and friendly. All guys currently, but no gender requirement for a new roommate. Generally people keep things low key during the week. Hang out if you like or stay up in your room - no judgement either way. Everyone's work schedule varies so the house never feels crowded. House stays fairly clean too. About You: Must be friendly and able clean up after yourself.
