Neighborhood Description This is the BEST neighborhood in town, and I'm so thankful that we chose it for our first home. The location is super close to grocery stores, takeout, gas, dry cleaning, restaurants, etc., but there is hardly any traffic at all- especially on Sanford Place because of the cul-de-sac. My one year old daughter pushed her popper in the street in front of our house all last summer. Our house is in a great location also because we can walk to football games, but we are just about 2 blocks too far away for people to clutter up our parking with game parking. We have hosted many tailgates here at our house when rain made the Pioneer grass too wet to park on =). I also love this neighborhood because of the people that live here- it is an excellent mix of young families, couples just starting out, singles, and retirees, several of whom are original owners. People are always walking dogs, pushing strollers, jogging, and just strolling around. Neighbors are friendly and look out for each other, without seeming nosy at all. I also love that I could go for a 3 mile jog around our neighborhood every day and never take the same path twice. My new favorite thing about the neighborhood is all of the playgrounds- there is a child's playground around every corner. We also have the best elementary school in town, and it's so quaint to see the kids walking and riding their bikes to school. You will definitely be pleased with this neighborhood!!
