The third king-sized bedroom on the lower level has its own bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower, and the fourth bedroom on the mezzanine level offers a twin-over-queen bunk setup and a dedicated bathroom with a shower. Please note that there is an exterior Nest Driveway camera on the shared driveway for your safety and peace of mind. Guests have full access to the home with the exception of locked owners' closets. We live next door and will greet you and show you around. We're happy to help during your stay with recommendations, tips, and anything else. We're here when and if you need! We're in the "ski base area." We're very close to the main ski resort and mountain restaurants. The main grocery store, hospital, movie theatre, and other shopping are also a short 2-3 minute drive down the hill. The ski mountain is very close to our home. You have several options to get there: - Walking: We do this with our 8- and 10-year-olds. It's downhill there and takes about 8-10 minutes. We recommend renting and storing gear at a shop at the base (ask us if you need recos & discounts) and walking down in regular boots. Coming back is uphill. Our kids can do it, but if we're really spent on the mountain, we'll call an Uber for a ride home. Usually around $8. Driving: We'd recommend either driving to the free Meadows Parking lot (2-3 minute drive) and catching the free shuttle to the base area. There are also paid parking decks right at the base of the resort. They are usually around $60/day. Private Shuttle: If you'd rather not drive, a private shuttle service/taxi can be arranged from the home. Downtown is a short 5-10 minute drive away. You can catch the free city buses from down the hill. We'd recommend you drive to the City Market Shopping Center and catch the bus from there. You can also walk to a stop from our home (about 1/4 mile). It's down the hill so just keep that in mind with weather conditions and adjusting to the altitude.
