Discover the perfect blend of classic character and modern convenience in this charming, move-in ready Dutch Colonial. Situated on a quiet, dead-end street in a highly desirable neighborhood, this home offers the peace of suburban living with unparalleled access, sitting just five minutes from I-79, Whitehall, and town. The entire home has been meticulously refreshed and is ready for its next owner, boasting a brand-new roof, an updated garage door opener and light fixtures, crisp neutral paint palette throughout, new interior and exterior doors with updated hardware, and newly installed plush carpeting in all bedrooms.
The functional main floor features durable, waterproof luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. You’ll find a spacious living room with 2 closets providing ample storage, a bright eat-in kitchen with center island, a separate dining room and a convenient half bath. There is also a sizable laundry room that offers significant versatility. This multi-purpose space currently functions seamlessly as a home office, gym, playroom, craft room, pet station or mudroom. What the owner loves about this home
I grew up on this very street and loved the neighborhood so much that I eventually bought a house here. It is an incredibly safe, family-friendly community where I’ve always felt completely at home.
The back deck quickly became my personal sanctuary. Because it’s a true three-season space, we can enjoy it rain or shine. Some of my favorite memories are spent there, savoring quiet mornings by the fire with a cup of tea and hosting lively dinners with family and friends.
We love relaxing in the living room, taking in the serene, leafy views through the large windows while reading or watching TV. Soaking in the jetted tub is also a family favorite, and my daily escape for melting away stress and feeling truly refreshed and at peace.
We grew to truly appreciate the large laundry room for its incredible versatility. It easily accommodates our elliptical and computer desk, and because of its dedicated entrance, it is perfect as a mudroom for our dog which makes our daily routine so much smoother.
Having off-street parking for guests and allotted space to store our boat is an absolute game-changer. These features make hosting seamless and provide such peace of mind knowing our pontoon is secure and easily accessible.
Overall, the true heartbeat of this home is its location. We enjoy the effortless access to the interstate, local shops and restaurants. Plus, being within walking distance to the local park makes our family life much easier to navigate, especially when the kids played youth sports. Additionally, even through the toughest winters, the commute is a breeze because of the multiple access points to the main roads.
It is these daily comforts, along with cherished memories, that make moving on so bittersweet. But it's our hope that the new owners will fill these walls with the same love, laughter and happiness that we have for the past 19 years.
