Cute, cozy, tucked-away first-floor apartment of our guest house! We're ten minutes from downtown but as the guest house is tucked away in the back and totally hidden from the street, there are no 'downtown hassles.' Recently renovated, it has a great shower and a new kitchen. I'll post new pictures when I get them but we built a deck for my mom's apartment on the second floor so the downstairs tenant now has a private, gated, shady patio to enjoy. Cool little house in a cool little neighborhood. Villa Verde was designed and built in the '30s by an architect from New York and many of the neighboring houses have decorative chimneys or architectural flourishes. Great community vibe-- we trade vegetables to a neighbor for eggs, everyone seems to pull together. I live four doors down with my wife so we are very quick to deal with any maintenance issues that arise. We are LGBTQ friendly and ICE unfriendly. One year lease minimum. Water/ sewer/ trash is one bill, generally $30-$50 a month. Laundry is just outside the unit in a large closet. Tenants are welcome to use our high-speed wifi. There is one electric bill for the two-story building, and it's split equally between the top and bottom apartments.
