The apt has hard wood floors, is pre-wired for internet, and has air conditioning sleeves below the windows for air conditioners. This is convenient because unlike most apts you don't have to put them in the windows. There is also laundry and a shared back yard for people living in the building. Oh the building is pet friendly as well. Also I personally rent from this landlord ( 9 years ) and the reason why I have stayed so long - unlike stuy town with there 500 to 800 rent increases these guys have raised the rent usually 50 to 100 bucks a year and they let you do two year leases. So besides not having any bad reviews I think they are a quality landlord. The area is awesome- The F train is blocks away at 1st Ave and 1st street (24 hour stop) and that literally goes straight up 6th avenue to NYU, West Village- Penn station, Bryant Park, Rockefeller and finally Central park, the J,M,Z are 3 blocks away (8 min) There's a huge running track on Houston a block over where Zog sports plays a lot of games. Two free Outside public swimming are a block away as well. There's a Whole Foods down Houston street with a YMCA that has an Olympic sized swimming pool. SOHO, Lower East Side, NYU, Greenwich Village, Nolita, and of course all the East Village are close by. Oh MTA has a website now that tells you the exact minute when the bus will be on the corner.
