    Large Penthouse apartment unit in the Mona Lisa Apartments with views of Queen Anne, the city skyline, and even the top of Mt. Rainier. Located in Northwest Ballard, this south-facing, light and bright, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment is on the top floor of a controlled-access building with an elevator. It was just completely renovated in the last year with many new features, including Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring throughout, new paint, quartz countertops, new lighting, upgraded appliances, and more. This apartment is in a small (just 15 units), quiet building with a convenient elevator. Situated on the Southwest corner of the building, the unit features views of Queen Anne, the downtown skyline, and even a "peek-a-boo view of Mt. Rainier (on those sunny days). It has skylights and numerous south and west-facing windows, providing lots of natural light, and has a large attached deck for outdoor enjoyment. The large primary bedroom and one other bedroom have their own private bathrooms. The roomy kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and lots of cabinets. There is even a separate laundry room with a convenient, full-size washer and dryer. There is a locked, on-site bike storage area available at no additional cost. This is a "NO SMOKING" building. Utilities -- there is a flat fee for Water, Sewer, and Garbage ($75 for one person plus $50 for each additional person, which is paid along with the rent). The resident will need to pay directly to Seattle City Light for metered electric service. The unit is already wired for internet and cable TV-- you just need to contract directly with the service provider. Pet policy -- Up to 2 Smaller pets are welcome (no dogs over 45 pounds) with a pet deposit ($400 for one/ $500 for two) and pet rent ($35 for one/$50 for two per month). Pet must be at least one year old, spayed/neutered, housebroken, have up-to-date vaccinations, have no history of aggressive behavior, and have favorable landlord references. One off-street, covered parking space may be possible for just $75/month. This conveniently located building is just 2 blocks away from several bus lines -- the D Line, 15 & 15 Express, 18, and 40. It's just a 15-20 minute walk to get to downtown Ballard. Renter's insurance with $500K personal liability is required. (Usual cost is less than $20 per month). Included in the monthly housing cost is our popular Residents Benefit Program! (This is a mandatory program). Just some benefits include free Automated Clearing House payments (which permit payment of rent and other fees by bank transfers rather than by check), $1000 accidental damage protection, free overnight hotel stays under certain emergency circumstances, security deposit review, free lock-out/key replacement coverage, and free sink drain packs! Applicants must demonstrate the financial ability to meet the lease obligations. Income and other lawful sources of funds are evaluated consistent with applicable federal, state, and local fair housing laws. Positive rental history or other acceptable housing references may be considered where available. For income qualifications, we only consider the combined incomes of the 2 most highly compensated residents. All occupants aged 18+ must complete an application. Consistent with Seattle regulations, criminal background screening is not performed. Applicants will be screened only as permitted by applicable law, including verification that an applicant is not required to register as a sex offender. NOTE -- applicants must sign and begin a lease within 18 days of the approval of their application. WE DO NOT OFFER "VIRTUAL VIEWINGS". An in-person viewing by the applicant or an authorized representative is required before submitting an application. We do not accept portable tenant screening reports. Housing Vouchers and Section 8 are accepted (NOTE, except for income, applicants must meet all other qualifying criteria). Initial 12 month lease and then extensions beyond that.
