This is a Have Your Cake and Eat It Too type of house. You get all the charm of an older house with things like that amazing side porch, lots of nice trim, dormers, built-ins, & on a pretty street with lots of big shade trees....but you also get modern features too, like a maintenance free exterior, a HUGE party deck and a kitchen that is not totally separated from the rest of the house. One of my favorite things about this house is the location. Tanglewood is a gorgeous neighborhood situated perfectly between anything you would want to do downtown and all the retail/dining/entertainment you need that the west end of town offers. Some things that impressed me when I first saw the house were: That you get shade outside and a lot of natural light inside. The original pinwheel pattern of the tile in the main level bathroom. All the hardwood. The size of the kitchen. The cool retro basement....and most of all, how move in ready this house is because the sellers love it so much.
