WE WILL NOT SUBLET TO A PROPERTY RENTAL COMPANY; DO NOT CALL US FOR THIS PURPOSE. Our historic Cozy Cottage with an open floor plan and large shower bath is perfect for preferably a solo guest. We have hosted many traveling nurses and business people working from home. Fully furnished with oriental rugs, queen canopy bed, full kitchen. Includes all utilities, DirecTV, and rocket WiFi. Rent includes weekly laundry service by our housekeeper with your clean clothes folded and returned to you in a laundry basket for a $20 folding tip. No charge for detergent or our washer and dryer. Cottage guests are welcome to enjoy the beautifully furnished big piazza on the front of our historic main house where our bed and breakfast guests stay. We have been the Historic District's #1 B&B for 9.5 years. The Cozy Cottage is available for 1 to 12 months, but not weekly. If you pay by credit card, our credit card processing company charges you a 3% card processing fee. You may pay by cash or check and save the credit card processing fee. We do not charge an application fee, those are so abusive. We do not rent to smokers or vapors, even those who think they can smoke off site. Due to chewed furniture, destroyed oriental rugs, and gouged doors, we absolutely will not accept pets, please don't ask; we will not respond. We are also not going to rent to anyone who intends to sublet. We also do not give tours because we have a tenant in the cottage and you have plenty of pictures here and on our own website, 22Charlotte, to understand what we are offering. Parking is on the street with many free spots available nearby. Google our location, 22 Charlotte Street, to see we are very near Roper Hospital, The Medical University, and the VA. This is a great location near the best local restaurants, the cool places to go at night, and the many historic attractions. Harris Teeter grocery is 3 blocks away. People love our Cozy Cottage and you will too! Standard lease terms apply, with your deposit returned when you turn the cottage back over to us, cleaned and ready for the next guest.
