My wife and I love our 1 bedroom apartment but we are expecting our first child soon and need to move to a bigger place. Extending the lease is possible, but our contract runs out on May 28 so we are subleasing it until then. Rent is $1399/mo and does not include water or electric. We pay about $60-70 for utilities each month. We asked the management what the price would be after the contract expires in May and he said that although they don't publish prices more than 90 days in advance, they said that $1650 would be the "absolute worst-case scenario." The apartment features include: - Open floor plan with amazing kitchen - Granite countertops with dark wood finishes - Stainless steel appliances - Individual climate control - Ceiling fan in bedroom - Large bedroom (we have a king bed and a huge desk and both fit really nicely) - Walk-in bedroom closet - Huge windows - 9 ft ceilings - Washer and dryer in unit - Dining area - One parking pass included (more can be purchased) - Third floor apartment means no noise from upstairs neighbors The apartment community (The Encore) is also great. They have a beautiful swimming pool, an awesome gym with free classes, they have a shuttle to the Pentagon City metro station that runs every 30 min, controlled entry, and the staff is really nice. The location is right off of the Seminary Road exit on 395 and is less than 5 miles from DC. We love this place and will hate to leave. Call or email to arrange a time to look at the apartment or to see more pictures. We would like to move out the beginning of February if possible.
