Situated on a private, two-acre lot, The Retreat is the ideal place to relax and unwind. While you'll feel worlds away, you're actually in the heart of Holland's vacation community near lakes, beaches, shopping, golf and great food. You get the best of both worlds: easy access to the area attractions and a peaceful setting on a quiet street among trees and wildlife. The property sits at the end of a short, quiet, dead-end street. From there you approach the home through a cavern of trees down a winding, private driveway. Surrounded by trees, the property is private and quiet. The back yard is bright and open, and features a massive deck, fire pit, and plenty of space for family games and gatherings. Miles of walking/bike paths are accessible just down the street - about a block away. From there you can walk or bike to the local beaches or pedal all the way to Grand Haven. The home features a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, half bath, large main living room area with access to the back deck. One large ensuite that sleeps three, (one queen and one twin bed). There's also a massive walk-in closet to store your travel items. INTERIOR PHOTOS COMING SOON! Lower level features a another large living area with a massive screen/sound system for watching movies, a kitchenette, and another full bath. There are two additional bedrooms both with large egress windows. One bedroom features a queen bed, while the other features a queen bed and a twin. Lastly, there is a large alcove area that has two twin over double bunk beds. In all the home can comfortably sleep 14 people in beds. Please note the alcove is not a separate bedroom. Though you feel a world away, the beaches are close by and easily accessible. Holland State Park is a 4 minute bike ride or 15 minute walk. Tunnel Park is a 25 minute walk or 7 minute bike ride. There is parking available at both beaches as well. We provide four bicycles for use during your stay. Downtown Holland is minutes away. Be sure to visit the Farmer's Market on Monday evenings, Wednesday and Saturday mornings at the civic center. Visit The Retreat and experience for yourself why it has earned that name. This home is a vacation rental home and is available for short stays until mid-June. After that it is available for weekly stays (Saturday to Saturday) until later August.
