The cottage is a surrounded by stunning historic homes located in the heart of the Governors Mansion and SoMa Districts of Downtown Little Rock. Keeping to the historical nature of the structure, both units were thoughtfully restored, curated, and designed to enhance your stay and offer you a unique experience as you retreat into tranquility. The Sunshine Suites design was inspired by British Colonial Revival architecture and decor, while the Moonshine Suites design was thematically inspired by the historic nature of the neighborhoods strong ties to the prohibition era speakeasy bars and pubs. GENERAL INFORMATION There is a substantially thick fire wall between the two units offering peace and tranquility through sound-proofing and safety. Room-darkening curtains hang in each room. The units are heavily insulated, and mini splits are used in each unit to heat and cool. The front porch has two ceiling fans. The sunshine suite has a heated towel rod in its bathroom. The moonshine suites tub faucet and over-head, in-wall rain can shower head run on two separate water lines. The cottage boasts original white oak hardwood floors that are over 150 years old.
