The kitchen was completely gutted and remodeled due to a builders error in construction. A hot water copper pipe was bent during construction and burst ~ 4 months after I bought the house. Long story short, I was laid off at the time, but my insurance deemed it a total loss. So we took the money, acted as the general contractor because we had so many friends in the Reno business to help us out. And I designed and created the kitchen of my dreams. The kitchen of a true family chef. The ONE OF A KIND breathtaking CEMENT wood board countertop I commissioned was/IS a showstopper…and the brick flooring was handmade custom designed, AND INSTALLED BY ME. I discovered my passion for home renovation in this house, and it ultimately led me to a place in life I never anticipated…but I LOVE that house. I bought that house with a gift from family I got as a little girl. I loved and was fiercely loved in that home, and letting it go was one of the most difficult choices of my entire life. I hope whoever is living there now appreciates it and loves it as much as I did.
