1260/mo, 2br/2ba; Sublet one room ($630ea), or the whole apartment, beginning January 11th and ending July 21st. Cost includes washer/dryer and valet trash. My roommate and I absolutely love our apartment at The Pointethe neighborhood is quiet, the neighbors and office staff are friendly, and most importantly, this apartment has a ton of space and a layout that is great for two roommates. We loved it so much that we renewed our lease here for a second year. Unfortunately, my roommate took a job out of state, and we have decided to move out. If you agree to take over our lease, you will keep our rental rate, which is cheaper than the rate the apartments are leasing for now. The apartment looks identical to the model unit shown in this video, except with newer flooring and higher ceilings: At the Pointe you get the space you can't get at other apartment complexes and with nice touches, but without paying the top dollar prices of some of the newer luxury complexes. The layout of our place is great for a family, or roommates who need their space. The apartment is 1245 sq ft (HUGE even for a 2br,/2ba in Chapel Hill), both rooms are comparably sized, have full bathrooms and walk-in closets, the carpet and flooring are brand new (no free-roaming pets, so no dander yet). Kitchen has plenty of cabinetry, the dining room-living room area is huge, big enough to accommodate two sets of tables and two couches. Additionally, the unit has a good-sized laundry room with a washer and dryer, as well as valet trash. The neighborhood is safe (I felt comfortable here at night on my own) and quiet, consisting mostly of graduate students, young families, and retired. Again, for commuters to UNC, the T bus line literally runs through the neighborhood, while the NS is a short walk. For those working outside of Chapel Hill, the complex is right off I-40. The complex has a gym, a very nice pool, and a dog park, and the office staff consistently put together nice events for the complex (like inviting food trucks). The Pointe is convenient to the Timberlyne and Chapel Hill North shopping centers, where there grocery stores, restaurants, a gym, two movie theaters and a post office.
