    This home will be on the market in mid-May 2021. Well maintained, energy efficient Cape Cod on a quiet one-way street with good neighbors. The current owners bought the home in 1987 from the original owners, and have kept it in great shape. The two main floors have 1628 square feet of living space, including five large bedrooms, two of which are on the first floor and could be used as den/study/rec rooms. One of the three upstairs bedrooms is 11'9" x 22' and could be divided into two separate bedrooms, for a total of up to six in the house! The large master bedroom has a walk-in closet. Sun-blocking window screens reduce the air conditioning usage. A whole-house attic fan provides cheap cooling on pleasant nights. A 220 volt outlet by the driveway can accommodate an electric car charger. In 2007 this home was the first to be awarded Cheverly "Green Home" certification for its low carbon footprint. The basement has about 900 square feet of finished space, with a large family/rec/exercise room, another room large enough for a bedroom, a half bath, a laundry room, lots of storage, and a walk out door to the back yard, plus a large unfinished workshop/utility room. The back yard extends to Lake Avenue, meaning no neighboring house in back. Over 300 square feet of rich vegetable gardens which could be returned to lawn if you prefer, plus flower gardens and a built-in shed under the deck.
