Sunny modern furnished 1BR flexible short-term sublet (9/24-10/31) Entire lovely modern Cambridge 1 bedroom, 1 bath available for a short-term flexible stay while I'll be out of town. This could be some or all of September 24 until October 29, or through October 31 if needed. I'm somewhat flexible on the exact term, but will prefer folks who can commit to a longer stay. Here's how it would work: - up to 2 weeks for $2600 - up to 3 weeks for $3600 - up to 4 weeks for $4300 - a full month, or up to the entire time I'm away, for $4600 Details: - bright, airy, leafy, plant and sun-filled corner unit with oversized windows - beautiful private terrace overlooking the park, with views all the way to Boston - across the street from the Fresh Pond Reservation, a wonderful nature escape great for walks, runs, bike rides, bird watching, or lounging around the pond - central air conditioning (A/C) - in-unit washer/dryer - stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher) and granite countertop - additional kitchen appliances (toaster, air fryer, Vitamix blender, Baratza coffee grinder, coffee maker, etc.) - 55" OLED TV with Netflix - fast (~300 Mbps) wifi - large desk with dual 27" monitor setup and smaller desk in bedroom - elevator in building - fitness room - keyless entry - next door to shopping (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, CVS, etc.), cafes, and restaurants - free and easy on-street parking in the area, no permit required - 1.5 miles from Harvard Square, Davis Square, and Porter Square - 10 minute walk to the Alewife Red Line MBTA stop - across the street from MBTA bus lines 74 and 78 to Harvard Sq or points west - along a nexus of multi-use community/bike paths leading in every direction - quick access to Route 2 and easy connections to other main roads through Cambridge, Somerville, into Boston, etc. Preference will be given to those who are willing to commit to a longer period (and of course, those whom I trust would truly respect and care for the space and neighbors; it's my home, after all). Maximum 2 people, no smoking, no pets. A security deposit will also be required. If you have a green thumb and would be able to care for the plants, I can take $15/week off the cost. Otherwise I have someone lined up who could come water them once per week.
