I'm moving to California at the end of the summer and will be renting out my house. Lease start date is negotiable, but I'm hoping to be out of here around the last week of August or September 1 at the latest. The house is literally right across the street from Brown Elementary - you can even watch kids playing at recess from the back deck! It's a 4 bedroom (2 up, 2 in the basement) midcentury modern duplex with amazing neighbors (one of whom will be taking care of mowing the lawn during the summer months so you don't have to, and Ken has been known to shovel my sidewalks on occasion). Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen/dining area, and living room, and is hardwood or tiled throughout. The kitchen is right by the back door which opens onto the deck. Downstairs is a TV room, a huge bedroom and a smaller bedroom. Also a 3/4 bath downstairs and a brand new washer and dryer. There's carpet in all the rooms besides the laundry/utility room and the bathroom. The backyard is pretty large and has lots of trees. And while the landscaping leaves a little to be desired (I have two black thumbs), the newly built cedar deck, complete with lights and a serving counter, is fantastic. There's also a smaller front deck which is great for watching the sunrise with coffee.\ Pix below don't include the 4th bedroom (I use it for storage and haven't been able to clear it out yet - gah!). The place can be rented either unfurnished or partially furnished (I'd love to not have to take the TV off the wall!). Dogs welcomed (encouraged, even! There's a dog door).
