Right in the heart of the Milk District! Available to rent is a mother-in-law studio attached to a beautiful 1920's home. The mother-in-law has a rustic, tiny-home vibe to it. I'm an engineer that loves carpentry, so I built a loft for the bed above the living room area, and every square inch of the place is used for clever storage. Most of the wood you see in this house is aged reclaimed barn wood. The bar top is a thick live-edge Walnut slab. This residency has parking in front of the house (you can fit two cars if you squeeze them in), a small private back yard with a little deck and canvas roof, and a washer/dryer on the front porch that is shared with the tenants in the main unit. The house has a gas stove and a gas tankless water heater (you'll never run out of hot water). The bed goes in the loft, seen in the photos. It fits a queen sized mattress or smaller, and is extra wide to allow for a landing before getting in to bed. I also recently added a second top-of-the-line AC unit to the front of the house specifically for keeping the loft bed cool at night. I think the photos of the house speak for itself - it's an awesome place that I enjoyed building and maintaining. I've included photos of the house both furnished (from the previous tenant) and empty. Utilities are a flat $50 a month, this includes internet, power, water, and gas. Tenant is expected to perform basic lawn care with the included mower.
