I was recently accepted to school in California, and my classes start in June, so I am looking for someone to take over my lease from May 20, 2016 to August 9, 2016. There is an opportunity to renew this lease if you decide that you would like to stay. It is actually a very nice and safe area (5 minute walk to Dunn Loring Metro Station, plenty of restaurants and other fun places in the area) and pretty new. My building is about 3 years old (I believe). The apartment is in the Lofts, and is one of the quieter of the 4 buildings in Halstead Square. It is a studio apartment on the 5th floor, with a designated "bedroom" area; a curtain hangs as a divider. Has 10 ft ceiling, wooden floors, and marble counters (the kitchen area is lovely, the sink had me at hello). Juliet balcony. Spacious walk-in closet. Stainless Steel appliances, and a very spacious full bathroom w/ storage shelves. Washer & dryer included. Garage parking. I've only been living here since last August, it's a beautiful place and it's in very good shape; if I could take it with me to Cali, I def would! Amenities galore: Fitness center, computers in lobby, dog play area, pool, indoor basketball court, courtyard, game room, lounge, theater, business center...visit the website to check out more. http www.halsteadsquare.com The rent I posted includes the actual rent ($1513) + amenities + parking + water bill. Depending on whether you're staying until Aug or want to renew, we can talk about the power bill. Rent will most likely change for the next leasing year...by how much, I am not sure. Depending on your needs, I may leave my couch, nightstand, and bed (and possibly my TV stand) for you (bed is a full & is less than 6 months old, couch/nightstand/TV stand are less than 10 months). If you decide to renew the lease, you may keep them. If not, you will be responsible for moving them (selling probably would be your best option. There is a resident network that folks use to sell their furniture & you'll have access to that!...or you could throw them away too I guess). The pictures attached are from before I moved in. Will upload more as I get everything together (looks a little crazy right now since I'm packing). We can arrange a time for you to check it out if you'd like. Serious inquiries only, please. Responsible for electric. Must be able to be approved through leasing office.
