All brick,4/5 bedroom, 4 and one half bath home with five(gas) fireplaces with deck and large (12ft by 20ft) screened in porch on main level, situated on two plus acres in Oakton, VA. Finished basement has walk out to lower patio. This home was the model home for Hunting Hills Estates, built by Randolph Williams. I purchased the home in 1995 for $600,000. and am the second owner. The first owner defaulted on their $700,000 plus mortgage so my purchase was from the bank holding the mortgage. The home has a three car garage(attached), a circular driveway to the front door and ample multi-car parking. Home value is incorrect. Zestimate from 2005 to 2012 averaged $1.2 million to $1.3 million. The dramatic drop of approximately $600.000 thousand in 2012/2013 resulted from an erroneous interpretation of my property tax reduction from $12,000 thousand to $700 hundred. This reduction was due to a law enacted by the state of Virginia which exempted veterans with 100% disability from paying property tax on their home and acre of property. I am a veteran with a 100% VA approved disability, and am therefore entitled to the property tax exemption. The dramatic drop in the Zestimate of my property coincides with my legal tax relief enacted in 2012. I therefore request that my Zestimate be returned to its historic and appropriate level of approximately $1.3million. Also, as noted above the purchase price I paid for the property was $600,00 thousand, not the $200,000 thousand listed in the Zillow data sheet. Respectfully request the data be corrected as soon as possible, and in the next update.
