This small single family unit is unique and is in a great location. Located on Missouri Ave in Benton Park, it's a short walk to the park and any number of bars and restaurants in Benton Park or Soulard. The house has a large kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, a large living room, and a room that we use as an office in-between the two. The bedroom is in a finished attic space upstairs. This property has a large fenced-in front yard, as well as a back yard with access to the alleyway via a gate in a privacy fence. The landlord does require the yard to be maintained by the tenant, but the lawnmower is provided in the shed in the yard. A mowing would typically take me less than 30 minutes every two weeks. The situation: We are the current tenants of this property, but we do not own it. Our current lease ends on June 1st 2018, and we absolutely LOVE living here, but we were afforded an opportunity to purchase a house that we could not pass up. As a favor to our landlord, who is a wonderful person, we are finding someone to fill this home until the lease is up in June. At that point, you will have the option to renew the lease. You will not be subleasing, as the paperwork will be done through our landlord and everything will be transferred to your name -- I just feel like the situation deserves some sort of explanation. The landlord prefers someone who is employed full time opposed to a student, but will consider all situations.
