Spacious & well laid out - easy living. The neighborhood feels like friendly, safe confines, especially in the evening when the dramatic resort style street lights are all glowing. $45K Solarcity solar panel installation completed December 2015 and activated March 2016 - grandfathered with the best net metering possible. We have this system financed with an assumable 4.5% 30 year loan which works out great as all of the debt is carried by Solarcity and they are contracted to guarantee the output for the duration. The system generates more power than we use so our electric bill is about $15 a month, including the $12.75 NV Energy service fee. The loan payment works out to about $200 a month which is much less than what our full electric bills used to be. Having the solar system financed and protected the way it is has been fantastic and has greatly reduced our electric expenditures making them stable at about $215 a month. The loan could be paid off without penalty at any time, then the monthly expenditure for electric would be about $15. I mention this because of the option to do so at time of purchase, ie the remaining balance of the Solarcity system could be completely paid off and the payoff amount added to the price of the home. Since it's already financed at 4.5%, your mortgage would have to be a better deal in order for it to make sense to do so. One bedroom has been converted to a whole room closet with tons of room for an expansive wardrobe, shoes & jewelry. This model had the largest room positioned as a dining room + sitting area with the smaller "great room" adjacent to the kitchen. We swapped the use of these 2 spaces so we have a huge great room and the dining room adjacent to the kitchen which facilitated the addition of a long row of cabinets with an additional granite countertop, both matching the kitchen. When the time comes, we may be willing to sell our home completely furnished.
