Vanderbilt employee parking is across the street from this condo building. Vandy provides a free shuttle for their employees and YOU to Vandy every 4 mins. Yes, you can use this free shuttle! Walking is 8 min. to Vanderbilt. This is the MOST convenient place to live around Vandy--lots of medical students/residents/law students live here. Very secure (key fobs at every entrance). Professionals or graduate students preferred. Perks of my condo over others in the building: It is the closest to the back elevator (very convenient to your parking spots), the closest to the pool (complete with gas grills--much more apt to use them if it is right outside and you don't have to go up and down stairs or wait on elevators), and the trash room is right around the corner next to the elevator (located only on the first floor--everyone else has to walk down to take out their trash--much more inconvenient). Also, I initially thought I would want to face the pool, however, due to the layout of the building, voices in the pool area echo at all hours of the morning, day, and night and can be very loud/annoying. I am never bothered or inconvenienced by having an outward facing view. There is bike storage in the garage. The unit is all electric. Both ceiling fans in the unit have remote controls. The condo association charges a $200 move-in fee and a $500 refundable reservation deposit. I charge a $48 background check fee with each signed application. I require one month's rent for the security deposit. No pets allowed. No smoking allowed. The building does not allow leases to be shorter than 12 months in this building. Therefore, we are only offering leases for 12+ months, nothing shorter. Come see this unit and building and you will see why it is the best place to live near Vanderbilt!
