    My wife and I were happy to call this apartment our home, but as our family grew we took the leap and moved to a single family house. There are so many things we liked about this place: -it has been rehabbed, yet we worked to preserve the cool, vintage woodwork. -high ceilings and a good layout with a bright, spacious living room, and two bedrooms that could fit a queen sized bed, and have ample closet space. -a spacious, eat-in-kitchen with a dishwasher and a pantry. -the bathroom was updated a few years ago. -lots of private storage space. -the building has a laundry room is just outside of the apartment, and offers bike storage. -central heat / central AC. -a patio and backyard. -a garage parking space is available for only $100 per month! -the other 2 apartments in the building have very nice, thoughtful tenants. My wife and I pride ourselves on taking good care of our tenants, promptly fixing all maintenance issues, while still respecting everyone's privacy. We great to love the neighborhood, it offers reasonable access to public transportation (Belmont Blue Line and Milwaukee Bus) and the highway. There are some genuinely good places to eat in the area: Starapolska (Polish), Mazamitla (Mexican), Manee Thai, Friendship Chinese Restaurant, La Villa Pizza, Brasa Roja (Colombian), etc. In addition Brew Brew is one of my favorite cafes, and there are a few pubs in the area that are worth checking out, such as the Sleeping Village and Reed's Local.
