Some airBnB reviews: The Carriage House was just what the Dr. ordered for an "in-town" stay. After selling a home in the same historic neighborhood we needed an interim "home" for a week or so. The hominess and comforts of the Carriage House were perfect. We slept like babies every night. July 2015 This house is bound to impress you and revitalize you each day when you return. Located in what appears to be an historic neighborhood, the home itself is old-world but with all necessary modcons to meet all your needs. Close to downtown San Antonio and just off a main road with all the necessary amenities. A spacious and gracious grand old lady! We would do it again. July 2015 This is a great home in a very charming older neighborhood that is very walkable. The pictures actually don't do this place justice, it's much nicer and larger than we expected. Great old home charm but modern amenities. Great courtyard and yard - it would be great in the cooler months. Very usable kitchen with all the basics. We loved that we could walk to a couple of restaurants and a really good local coffee shop! Located about a 5 minute drive from the Riverwalk. Good wi-fi, they have a TV but we didn't even turn it on. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to San Antonio. This is the perfect place to stay.............anywhere! Robert and Elizabeth were delightful, showing us all aspects of their beautiful carriage house (those we needed to know as well as interesting "tidbits") and giving us helpful information about San Antonio. The carriage house is located in the historic area of the city and ideal for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. One of the restaurants nearby was so good we went there 3 times and were never disappointed. I honestly can't think of one negative statement to make about our experience at this lovely, historic house and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone going to San Antonio.
