As a fellow tenant, I will tell you I've been here for almost 6 years and I'm never leaving this house. The house is at Albatross Street and W Laurel Street and was originally built in 1906. It's about 8 blocks from Little Italy and 6 blocks due West of the entrance to Balboa Park. Right smack between the two. I think the pictures will do most of the talking but this house is incredible. There are lovely grass yards all around the property along with a lovely wrought iron fence and gate completely surrounding to secure the property. We have landscapers over once a week. You'll get two tandem parking spots in the gated driveway too. There's a shared patio area right behind your unit with a fire pit. Plenty of room for a grill if you own one. There's a large shared basement with a washer, dryer, and plenty of storage space. The sun room and large living room have a glorious view of the San Diego Bay which you can see the view in one of the photos below. Most of your windows face West or South so you'll have the afternoon sun beaming into your place. I'm guessing the square footage at 1200 sq ft but I think that's a fairly accurate estimate. The house has been split into 4 units. The other three tenants including myself are three 30-something men. We have a good vibe between all of us. We're all respectful and courteous to each other and care for this beautiful house we're lucky enough to call home. We all care for the property and pick up after ourselves. Just be clean, courteous, and respectful and you'll fit right in. There are still tenants in the home until January 15th.
