Longmont's Historic Eastside is one of the up and coming neighborhoods in Longmont. As it is within walking distance to Collyer Park, Columbine Elementary, local coffee shops, restaurants and bars, it is a great neighborhood for someone who wants a urban conveniences with historic charm. The house is included in the Historic Eastside Neighborhood Association (HENA) which gave out small grants to people last year who wanted to do historic preservation and/or xeriscaping to increase the value of their home. Through this grant, we received two flowering pear trees in the front yard. The house is also eligible to receive an Historic Landmark plaque if the new owner should choose to apply for it.
