Exploring the sale of the home we bought in 2009 as the kids are mostly grown and I'm looking for a change. House was built in mid 60s as traditional split level like so many in the neighborhood. We are on the Burgandy Basin Inn side of Marsh, the school district is CRMS for middle school and Sutherland for high school. We are a short pleasant walk down to the canal entrance and the Basin, and excited for the new Aurora taproom to open. Just off Exit 27 on the 495 and easy to get around to Eastview, at least three different Wegmans, Powder Mills Park and much more. 1 bedroom / office and half bath on first floor and 3 bedrooms and two full baths on second. House has a living room, dining room, a back den and an eat in kitchen. The downside of the house is the proximity to the highway but it's not been much of a bother for us since we moved in. Since we got here, and much of work has been done recently, we've pretty much renovated most of it away from the tacky 70s stuff that was in here (except for the solidly built second bathroom). Work done includes, going backwards from just a few months ago: -Outdoor fire pit area installed - Old overgrown landscape torn out and mulched and mounded -built in bookcases and office renovation (in progress) - New high efficiency furnace (gas) - New AC - new outdoor light fixtures -Greenlight Internet - New washer (HE front loading) - new windows for entire home - remodeled entryway -remodeled half bath -trimmed and painted outside of home -trimmed and painted nearly all of inside of home - gas range and backsplash installed - gas lines for brewing/cooking in basement with hood installed - replumb basement outflows - chimney pointing -new 30yr roof The typical RGE bill average over year is apx $200. We have lots of very nice neighbors and the community is growing much younger than when we moved her. Basement is one of those half full half crawlspace. The crawlspace is tall enough for my short self to stand up in and I use it for storage and I can operate my table saw there. The other half of basement walks out into back yard and fits washer dryers, tools, fridges, exercise bike, treadmill, boxing heavy bag and weight rack along with shelving for pots and food. House is on county water and sewer is septic, I pump it every two years. Some or all of the furnishings may also be available based on interest. Exploring offers now but not forced to sell in any way. Please call or text there to chat.
