We are selling our fully-furnished condo in the Hilton Head Cabanas complex on Hilton Head Island. The Cabanas are a fantastic complex with a courtyard design and a beautiful pool and lounge area in the courtyard, which is not accessible by the public. It is extremely private and every time we are there, we sit by the pool in the early mornings all by ourselves. It is literally like having a private oasis. Afternoons and evenings are fun with kids playing, people grilling, etc, and due to the limited size, it is entertaining without being overwhelming, even in the middle of summer. Coligny Plaza is about a 10-minute walk (or 5-minute bike). Our favorite destination is Piggly Wiggly to browse and find fun things for lunch and dinner. For those that prefer eating out, there are plenty of restaurants at Coligny. Our kids are old enough to go to Coligny by themselves to get candy from Pops candy store, so that is a fun expedition for them. Our Unit is on the front side of the Cabanas, and an adult can literally walk out the front door and be on the beach in 2 minutes. No surprise, hauling kids and gear will slow you down, but who cares, you are at the beach. And best part, 5-minute round trip to get the beach toys your kids forgot to pack in the cart. We love HHI because it is so kid- and dog-friendly. Our condo is also dog-friendly, which, along with the location, was the primary factor for us. Our condo is zero-entry into the unit (no steps, just walk right in), which is great when unpacking or hauling groceries, etc. - The kitchen, dining, and den areas are on the main floor, along with a half bathroom. A large sliding door opens to private patio in the courtyard. The pool is about 50 feet away. - The upstairs has two nice bedrooms, and a full bathroom with tub/shower. The courtyard-side bedroom has views of the courtyard and pool, while the exterior-side bedroom has views of S. Forest Beach and the bike/walking path for those that like to watch people. Sadly, we are selling because we have multiple kids in travel soccer, and with school and work, we just aren't able to get to the island regularly enough. We do rent it out through a local management company and they do a fantastic job.
