Our cabin has been many things to many travelers for many years; from a romantic getaway in the woods to a large cabin that fits the entire family plus... To us, the Kobey family, it has been our very special cabin full of wonderful memories from the time our kids were babies 'til their young adulthood and to Dixie and I, what seems to be a blink of an eye, has been a cabin full of family memories we cherish and we want other families to experience the same unforgettable memories! Whether you choose to spend a weekend or a few months in the cool pines of the White Mountains Kobey's Ski Lodge and Golf Retreat is the perfect getaway full of every amenity you would ever need for the perfect family vacation in the woods. Our goal over 25 years ago was so other families could create the same wonderful memories we did at our family cabin in Pinetop. The comfort of this private mountain cabin spreads a little over 4500 square feet of mountain bliss complete with private balconies from each of the 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms to accommodate any family or company retreat. A large kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite counters, custom cabinets and all the amenities to cook a gourmet meal allows for guests to mingle and space to entertain on the outdoor decks where kids and pets can frolic and play within the fenced private yards. After a long day on the slopes or a round of golf right outside, its time to chitter and chatter beside the family fireplaces or chalk up cue sticks for a game of pool in the 500 square foot Super Cozy Fun Family Game Room, complete with pool table, comfy lounge couches and games for all ages. As the day unfolds and evening sets, guests can meander upstairs to the Tree House theatre to watch their favorite flicks while cozying up on the custom made theater beds designed for the ultimate lounging experience like no other. No need to worry about getting chilly as the fireplace sets the stage for warmth and ultimate comfort. There truly is not another cabin that can match the amenities of the most distinctive cabin rental in the White Mountains. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Watch a movie in our Tree House Theater and then fall asleep in one huge and ever so cozy room with our custom made Triple Stair-Step Theater Beds (sleeps 6), 2 Four Person Full Over Full Bunk Beds (Sleeps 8) and a beautiful 360 degree tree top view of the forest including a wonderful large covered balcony and Gas Fireplace w/ Remote. Every bedroom has a door to its own covered balcony with a view and high definition SMART TVs with streaming ability in each room. Other upstairs bedrooms consist of the Master with a King and a trundle (Sleeps 4), and our TWO large Tree Top bedrooms each with 2 queens per room (Sleeps 8). And on the main floor we have what we call "Mama and Papa's Bedroom" with a comfy Four Post Queen Canopy bed (Sleeps 2) and its own bathroom right next door. Every room is large with it's own private balcony with wonderful views tucked within the tall pines. WHAT "KOBEY'S SKI LODGE AND GOLF RETREAT" HAS TO OFFER The Lodge is a spectacular experience from the get go, as the entrance resembles entering into a Mine Shaft. What used to be the garage has now been converted to our Climate Controlled Super Cozy Fun Family Game Room with pool table, sofas, tv, and other fun games for the family. If you can set down your fishing pole long enough to check your email, you will be pleased to know The Lodge offers FREE secure high speed wireless internet for your convenience. The Lodge also has 4 large rooms to gather in each with forest views for everyone to enjoy! First, the downstairs great room with a sea of super comfy sofas, a huge high definition flat screen TV, Large Gas Fireplace w/remote control and No Mess To Clean Up! Second, watch movies with 14 of your favorite people in the Tree Top Theatre and then all fall asleep right there in your custom made theatre bed, and another wonderful Gas Fireplace w/ remote control. Third, play pool and other fun games or relax on even more comfy overstuffed sofas while watching a movie in our 500 square foot Super Cozy Fun Family Game Room or open the garage & watch Mother Nature do her thing. Fourth, another great gathering spot is of course our Kitchen, Sprawling BBQ Deck, Breakfast Bar and Antique Island: Enjoy a chef's kitchen with room for multiple cooks to put out a delicious spread. It is fully equipped with everything you need for a holiday meal for everyone; Convection Oven, Pots and Pans, Granite Counters, Large Farm Sink within a whimsical McKenzie Childs decor and everything you'll ever need for the perfect family feast! All utensils and cookware that you would need are provided. 2 large gas BBQ's are situated on the spacious backyard deck conveniently located off the kitchen. Whether you are cooking for a small army or just the intimate family, we've got you covered! THIS HUGE CABIN IS EQUIPPED WITH A MULTIPLE SMOKE DETECTORS, CARBON MONOXIDE SENSORS, FRONT DOOR SECURITY CAMERA, AND FIRE EXTINGUISHERS IN THE KITCHEN, BATHROOMS AND IN THE BBQ AREA ON THE BACK DECK. available during off season
