Arbor Vista was originally approx 150 acres of an estate and tree farm. It began to be developed in the mid 1960's. There are currently about 140 homes total with only a couple of vacant lots left. The neighborhood is bordered on two sides by a conservation area and forest preserve. We connect to the Lake County trail system - so we can ride, bike, run or walk for miles and miles without interruption. We are unincorporated so our taxes are lower, relatively speaking. No two homes are alike as all the homes were custom built.
