This 25.3 acres is one of only 3 or 4 Old Growth Forests left in Vermont. It has been a managed Sugarbush for over 150 years and was last sugared in the mid 90's. There are 400 year old trees on this land and because it is so unique, the forester I used asked to include two graduate students to work with him to figure out how to prep it for Sugar for the foreseeable future. His feeling was the grad students might never have the chance to work on Old Growth forest again. The ideal building site is close to power and is on a deeded 3 rod (60') right of way. This will never have any impediment to the amazing view of Camel's Hump, the 3rd highest peak in VT. The slope of the land will insure no one will ever build in front of the house site.
