You can rent it by the week with a four-night minimum. There are two bedrooms with waterfront views and two full bathrooms. There is a comfortable living room, sunroom and spacious deck for hanging out, all with water views where there is an abundance of bird and water life. The bedrooms have a professional grade queen size bed with its own full bathroom. The bedding is a plush assortment of quality sheets and quilts to keep you comfy on those slightly cool summer nights. There is a spacious outside deck with water views where you can relax. For week stays, this is a great home for two couples or for small family. Or as a great place for one or two people to relax and unwind. A beautiful kitchen that is stocked with quality cookware, gadgets and dishes makes for a pleasant gathering place when you want to stay closer to home. A grill and comfy deck furniture on the large deck is a wonderful place to watch the Maine sunset. There is satellite television. The property is located within 1 walking mile from Birch Point Beach State Park where watching sunrises, beach-combing or planting yourself for the day on the granite rocks offers a true Maine experience. Owls Head is known for its quiet, country roads and undeveloped shoreline where the area offers miles of biking, kayaking, hiking and other outdoor activities. Only a short car ride away, a nearby lighthouse is a great place for the evening sunset where you can watch the local lobstermen bring in their daily catch. Or stop in to the Owls Head Transportation Museum that has one of the best collections of old cars, planes and trucks in the United Sates. And all the motorized exhibits work. Located less that 10 minutes is the small, vibrant coastal city of Rockland that has many wonderful restaurants, hip bars, the iconic Farnsworth and Lighthouse Museums, great shopping and a working waterfront where you can hop on a ferry to explore as a day trip the offshore islands. For moviegoers or those seeking evening entertainment, the restored STRAND Theater has a range of offerings from first run movies to live music. Or for a memorable restaurant experience make a reservation at Primo's where an award winning James Beard chef dishes out her creations daily. And if the famous Monhegan Island is on your mind to visit Maine artists, the ferry that has daily trips is only 30 minutes away. Acadia National Park is within 2 hours.
