We are seeking an awesome (preferably female) housemate to join us as a roommate in our one-of-a-kind house on a beautiful, quiet, street in Mar Vista -- the neighborhood adjacent to Venice Beach. The house is a spacious 5 bedroom, 3100 sq ft, 2-story house-- fully furnished, on a quarter acre plot of land, with an incredible backyard replete with fruit-tree filled garden. Your housemates: We've had this co-living house since 2018 and you'd share the house with 4 excellent humans (3 guys and a gal) who are in their early and late 30's: Jeff Chen (physician, entrepreneur), Bowen Dunn (Musician, Entrepreneur, Athlete) and Maxwell Kangkolo (creative, entrepreneur), and a pending female housemate who will reside in one of the 2 rooms that are currently available. We are just about the most fun, chill and thoughtful housemates you can ask for, and all of us are either from Los Angeles or have been living in LA for years and have strong communities across the startup, healthcare, technology, and creative industries. Your room is upstairs, has hardwood floors, a balcony with sweeping views of West LA, and en-suite private bathroom. We are looking for a roommate that has a great vibe and wants to live in community and be social with others. Adjectives that might be ascribed to you include easy going, super clean and tidy, financially stable, respectful, communicative. Other ideal personality traits include preferring to host conscious gatherings and dinner parties rather than ragers, preferring to partake in a wellness event rather than getting drunk and yelling at the TV. The house is a 7 min drive to the beach (10 min bike ride to the beach), 5 min walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, banks, CVS, beer gardens, bars, cafes, yoga studios, meditation center, farmers market, etc, even a bowling alley and a record store and a Japanese food court! Close to the beach but also near both the 10 and 405 freeways so you can get anywhere in LA without getting stuck in beach/tourist traffic. You'd be on a sublease for the remainder of our main lease (expires Jan 1 2027) at which point we will renew the main lease and you can decide if you want to continue with us. SO!
