It's super safe and convenient. The Bus to New York City Midtown (Port Authority Bus Terminal) is right at my doorsteps in front of the house. D) Parking You can get resident permit and park on the street for free. F) The Neighborhood My home is located in the heart of Jersey City Heights, super safe and convenient. It is a wonderful neighborhood for New York City commuters and travelers G) Getting Around and Public Transportation 1) By Car: It's a 15-20 min car drive to Midtown New York City (via Lincoln Tunnel) 2) By Bus: Bus Stop is right in front of the house that takes you right into New York City Midtown (Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd street and 8 Avenue). The bus ride is usually around 25 mins depending on traffic, additional 5-10 mins or so during rush hours (7-9AM, 5-7PM). From Port Authority, it's a 5 mins walk to Times Square, Theater District, a 15 min walk to Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Fifth Avenue Shopping District. You can easily catch one of the MTA (NYC) buses and/or subway trains to get around the city. Hoboken Path Train New Port Path Train Grove Street Path Train Train rides takes 7 mins to downtown NYC, 15-17 mins to midtown NYC Note Street Parking is hard to find around these train stations.
