This two bedroom apartment is part of a well-kept, private two-story town house residence in the heart of Jersey City Heights. It's super safe and convenient. The Bus to New York City Midtown (Port Authority Bus Terminal) is right at doorsteps in front of the house. Parking You can get resident permit and park on the street for free. The Neighborhood Located in the heart of Jersey City Heights, super safe and convenient. It is a wonderful neighborhood for New York City commuters and travelers Getting Around and Public Transportation 1) By Car: It's a 15-20 min car drive to Midtown New York City (via Lincoln Tunnel) 2) By Bus: Bus Stop is right in front of the house that takes you right into New York City Midtown (Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd street and 8 Avenue). The bus ride is usually around 25 mins depending on traffic, additional 5-10 mins or so during rush hours (7-9AM, 5-7PM). From Port Authority, it's a 5 mins walk to Times Square, Theater District, a 15 min walk to Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Fifth Avenue Shopping District. You can easily catch one of the MTA (NYC) buses and/or subway trains to get around the city. New York City has the most robust and convenient subway system in the world. 3) Bus Routes Which Bus to take: There're several options as listed on my Photos. The best way is to use Google Direction it gives you LIVE info on directions and time schedule. I can be of assistance if you need help. Please ask me prior to you traveling. a) Bus 123: stops on the same block at Palisade Avenue and Franklin Street b) Combination of Bus 84 and Bus 119 (Bus 84 stops at Palisade Avenue and Franklin Street, transfer to Bus 119 at Palisade Avenue and Congress Street) c) Combination of Bus 87 and Bus 119 (Bus 87 stops at Palisade Avenue and Franklin Street, transfer to Bus 119 at Patterson Plank Road and Congress Street) d) Bus 119 (stops at Patterson Plank Road and Congress Street) 4) By subway There're three subway Path train stations near by, they're all 8 min car drive from my house. Hoboken Path Train New Port Path Train Grove Street Path Train Train rides takes 7 mins to downtown NYC, 15-17 mins to midtown NYC Note Street Parking is hard to find around these train stations. Taking the bus might be a better option. 5) Bus/Train Ticket Pricing: a) Bus Ticket: $4 one way to New York City Midtown (Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd street and 8 Avenue) b) MTA metro card: Single ride $2.75 7-Day Unlimited Pass: $32.00 30-Day Unlimited Pass $121.00 All passes give you free NYC bus transfers, and free unlimited "in-station" subway transfers. Owner pays for water Tenant pays for electricity, gas, and internet
