We are creating a community where kids can play together in the basement, backyard, and each others' units, and where adults keep an eye out for everybody's kids and help each other out. The ideal community member is interested in co-ownership of the building, which means committing to long-term tenancy (at least 5 years) and participating in decision-making (like how to landscape the backyard) and maintenance (like shoveling snow). We provide equal housing opportunity and welcome Section 8 voucher holders. All utilities and internet are included except electricity. Pets are allowed for co-owners but not renters. Smoking tobacco is not allowed. All residents participate in building maintenance and upkeep (like shoveling snow and picking up trash).
