Hello, We have a two-bedroom bungalow located in a great neighborhood a block or so from Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. The rent is $4,195. It's part of a property I bought 20 years ago and spent some time restoring. The house, built in 1922, has many original touches including hardwood floors, recessed ceilings, French doors and decorative wood trim and moldings. It has two bedrooms, one full bath, a nice size living room (sorry fireplace only on exterior), dining room with built in hutch, original kitchen with cute white and green tile, laundry room and basement for storage. The house shares the yard with a one-bedroom cottage above the garages. There is off street parking in the rear of the house (one garage spot and a tandem spot for the front tenant, and same for the cottage). We accept well-mannered pets and cover the garbage and mow and blow folks. Again, the house is conveniently located within a short walk to all the shops and restaurants on Piedmont Avenue (Piedmont Grocery is right down the street) and quite near the casual carpool if you happen to commute to San Francisco. Bart is a 5 minute drive away and about a 15 min bike ride and where the company shuttles stop. We're fair and responsive landlords and we're looking for responsible reliable tenants who take pride in their home. The house is available starting December 1st and we require a one-year lease.
