Our home sets on 9.14 acres with a fair amount of trees left to harvest for wood heat. We have a big cabin that is approximately 1000 square foot with a smaller cabin that is about 200 square foot. Both cabins have wood stoves. The bigger cabin has propane and solar power. It has stairs leading to a loft. Both are dry cabins with two rain catch systems on either side of the large cabin. We just weatherized the larger cabin and put a new door on so during the winter it stays really warm!
