The space can be fully furnished, or available unfurnished if you prefer to bring your own pieces. The apartment includes two spacious bedrooms with built-in closets, a kitchenette, storage, and a welcoming great room, all within approximately 1,800 square feet of comfortable living space with nine-foot ceilings. It could be a wonderful fit for one person, a pair of friends, or a couple. Availability The space is available for move-in on July 1st. Location The home is located in the charming Multnomah Village neighborhood of Southwest Portland, about 8 minutes from Lewis & Clark College, 10 minutes from downtown Portland, and 20 to 30 minutes from PDX. Multnomah Village has tree-lined streets, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shops, and everyday conveniences within a 10 to 15 minute walk, including Barbur World Foods, Walgreens, and Starbucks. Safeway and Fred Meyer are within a 5-minute drive. About the Space The bright and airy lower level was built in 2010 and updated in 2014. It has a private entrance, large windows with deep sills, and generous natural light. The space is extremely well-insulated for sound and heat, has heated floors in winter, central heating, and air conditioning in the summer months. Each bedroom is spacious and includes custom built-in closets. The master bedroom is carpeted; the rest of the floors are high-end vinyl. Brand-new queen mattresses are available and very comfortable. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead, storage, and plenty of room for essentials. The kitchenette includes an electric range, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer oven, generous cabinet space, a dorm fridge for drinks, and a full-sized standing refrigerator/freezer. Heated floors make the space especially cozy in the winter, while the lower level stays naturally cool in the summer. The home also has central heat and air conditioning. The primary bedroom is especially spacious with a wall of bookcases and a walk-in closet. I also have a queen bed, dresser, desk, and nightstand available for that room if desired. The second bedroom already has a queen-sized bed and dresser in the room. Shared Outdoor Space You will also have access to a beautiful shared backyard oasis with a gas fireplace, waterfall, koi pond, and mahogany deck designed by Portland Japanese Garden landscape architect Sada Uchiyama. There are also opportunities to garden for anyone who enjoys it. A natural gas grill is available for shared use on the back porch, making outdoor cooking easy without needing propane tanks. Other Details Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis, under 35 pounds. This is a non-smoking property. Shared laundry is located on the third floor. Eeva laundry washer/dryer combo (search video on YouTube) is scheduled for delivery this fall. Parking space in front of the home. Guest parking is conveniently located directly across from the house. Lease Terms I am seeking a 12-month lease or longer. Rent is $2,600 per month and includes all utilities and Wi Fi. To secure the space, I require an application, a $2,600 deposit, and reference verification. If all goes well, I am open to discussing a longer-term lease after one year.
